Description
These 1:32 scale sandbags and biscuit boxes are perfect for historical dioramas, wargaming tables, and model scenery. The unpainted versions paint up exceptionally well, and a coat of varnish after painting provides extra protection and durability. Inspired by the film Zulu, these sandbags are crafted with attention to historical accuracy and detail, making them ideal for recreating the Battle of Rorke’s Drift (1879).
Designed to fit 1:32 scale miniatures, they are compatible with figures from William Britains, Call to Arms, Conte, and other popular ranges. The sandbags and biscuit boxes are well-sized to create realistic defensive positions. During the battle, the Welsh Guards faced overwhelming Zulu forces at the garrison, engaging in a twelve-hour bitter fight. These miniature sandbags allow hobbyists and collectors to recreate that historic defensive setup, adding authenticity, tactical depth, and visual impact to displays and dioramas.
