Description
These 1:32 scale sandbags and biscuit boxes are inspired by the film Zulu, one of the most iconic depictions of the Battle of Rorke’s Drift (January 1879). Designed to fit perfectly with 1:32 scale miniatures, they are compatible with figures from William Britains, Call to Arms, Conte, and other popular ranges. Each sandbag and biscuit box is crafted to a practical size, allowing collectors and hobbyists to create realistic defensive positions and battlefield layouts.
During the historical battle at Rorke’s Drift in South Africa, the Zulu forces greatly outnumbered the Welsh Guards, who relied on sandbags and ammo boxes to protect their position. The engagement lasted over twelve hours, resulting in significant casualties and injuries among the defenders. These miniature sandbags faithfully replicate that historic defensive setup, adding authenticity, detail, and tactical depth to your dioramas, wargaming tables, or historical displays. Ideal for collectors, hobbyists, and enthusiasts of military history.
